Evaluation and Treatment of the Thoracic Spine and Rib Cage

This two day course will cover the functional anatomy and biomechanics of the thoracic spine, rib cage and shoulder.  Emphasis will be placed upon making a positional diagnosis for thoracic spinal dysfunction and treatment will utilize an eclectic approach with the primary emphasis on muscle energy technique. Evaluation and treatment of the rib cage will focus on structural rib dysfunctions.  The influence of the thoracic spine and rib cage on shoulder function will be introduced. Home exercises for the thoracic spine and rib cage will be included.
